What We Do
We provide you with EUSR National Water Hygiene training (Blue Card) and SHEA Water Passport (Green Card) training courses, over zoom or at your own premises. Alpha Water Hygiene run two public Zoom water hygiene training courses each week but we are always happy to discuss bespoke courses to suit your business day. Contact us for details.
We offer discounts when you book 4 or more places, please contact us for details. Our prices for both the EUSR Water Hygiene training courses and SHEA courses include your registration, which lasts for 3 years. So, if you are looking to renew your Water Hygiene registration, or if this is your first registration, our courses are right for you.

This training course is three hours long, and you will have to pass a 25 question multichoice test.
Yes, we deliver the EUSR National Water Hygiene course remotely. We currently use Zoom as our delivery platform. You will require access to a computer with a microphone, speakers/headphones and web camera. We do not accept mobile telephones although a large pad that can be stood up is acceptable. You will be given further guidance in the Joining Instructions.
If you require a course to be delivered at your premises, this can be arranged. You will need a room large enough to hold the number of delegates comfortably around a table with clear view of a screen. Onsite courses are priced according to the number of delegates, so please get in touch for prices.
The training covers everything you need to help you understand your responsibilities and will provide you with the knowledge to pass the test.
If you fail the test, you will not be allowed to work on restricted operations.
Our role is to ensure you understand what is required to pass the test. We will work with you until you do.
If you need to register for an EUSR National Water Hygiene card or need a refresher quickly, please get in touch and we may be able to train you within a day or so, subject to trainer availability.
For a single card, this will be sent by Royal Mail First Class Signed for. For two or more cards in the same envelope, this will be sent by Royal Mail Next Day Special Delivery. We will endeavour to let you know by email when your card/s goes in the post.
Please let us know by email if your card does not arrive within five days of our notification of postage. If you fail to notify us within five days, we are unable to recover any costs from Royal Mail and will therefore have to charge you for any replacements requested.
The majority of water service providers will only hire you if you hold a SHEA Water card. It demonstrates your understanding of safety, health and environmental awareness.

For places booked on the website only. If you advise us up to seven days before the course date, we will refund 100% of your payment. If you fail to show up or advise us less than seven days before the course date, we are not able to refund your payment as your place is regarded as confirmed at that time.
Yes, but only by prior agreement and the rates for credit based transactions may attract a premium to cover administration. Typically 20% of the basket value. Invoices
need to be settled before the training day or will attract interest at 1.5% per day. EUSR registrations will not be processed if invoices are not paid prior to the training day.
As this course uses a number of technical terms and industry phrasings, this may be an issue. As per the EUSR rules for both Water Hygiene and SHEA Water, a maximum of 12 delegates can attend a course at a time. However we do try and limit this to 10 wherever possible.
We can deliver two Water Hygiene Courses but only one SHEA Water Course per day.
Your card is valid for three years.
Not if your card is still valid. We can help you apply for a replacement.
The courses are only delivered in English. If you do not speak English as your first language, please call 01904 909955 to discus options.

- Arrive on time.
- Be in a quiet and undisturbed environment.
- Be respectful and do not use foul or abusive language.
- Keep you camera on at all times.
- Do not get up and walk around during the training as this off-putting for all.
- Do not take phone calls or engage in offline conversations during the training.
- During the test, ensure the trainer can see and hear you at all times.
- Any apparent cheating will result in disqualification.
- The trainer will remined delegates of this etiquette, should the need arise.
- The trainer reserves the right to remove any delegate displaying abusive or offensive behaviours.
